Always make your used car purchase conditional to an independent third party mechanical inspection.

Have your mechanic look for any signs of accidents, repaint, and engine/transmission issues.

Never, ever pay the asking price for a used vehicle (especially from these schmucks). I have been contacted by an anonymous Ottawa Honda ex employee who provided me with some bone chilling information about the inner dealings of Ottawa Honda Pre Owned on Richmond road. More to come on that. For now lets just say that it's not uncommon for these guys to make well over $5000.00 on a used car sale. Especially one that was in an accident and repaired and not disclosed to you because they repaired it in there own shop without a paper trail. Like I said, more to come on that.
